GSDR of San Antonio is not only here to rescue German Shepherd Dogs but also to help locate and reunite pets with their families.  This is a free service to anybody who has recently lost a pet, regardless if it's a dog, cat or whatever.  We will try to help.

Your information will be published on this Web site for a period of 10 days or more.  If during that time you are reunited with your pet, please let us know by sending us an email to sheri@gsdrtx.com.

In order for us to list your pet on this page, please fill out the Information on Lost Pet form by clicking on the link below.  Once we have received your information we will publish the Lost Pet report as soon as possible.

Thor
January 8, 2010

Thor is a 10 year old neutered male. He is microchipped. He has a black saddle with beige legs and brownish face. He is an escape artist and can jump a 6 foot fence.

He was last seen around 2 years ago but we got a call from a local shelter On Monday Jan 4, 2010 that someone has him. The shelter cannot find the person's contact information so we are hoping to contact every source in the hopes they called more than one location. Please contact us if you have found him. We live near Vance Jackson and Huebner on the Northwest side of San Antonio.

This beautiful girl was found on the far north side of San Antonio close to the Miller's Ridge area, O'Conner Road and New World.  We suspect she is about 2 to 3 years old and appears to have had a recent litter of pups.  She has no tags or micro chip and weighs about 50 pounds.

Bear
January 27, 2010

Bear is 4yrs old. Neutered. He looks older than he is because of the silver on his snoot. He wants to be with people and does not like cats. Very mild mannered. He is not a tall shepherd and runs on the lean side. Has knee problems so might be limping. Knows basic commands.

Had on an invisible fence receiver/collar when he disappeared.

Last seen near Dripping Springs with a black labradoodle in July. The black dog came back after one day. Bear did not. I have searched everywhere including the highways.
