Huney Found German Shepherd Dog, May 2011. She's about 2 years old and was very much underweight when found in San Antonio. Her "foster parent" says she's very cuddly and loves people but NOT other animals. Huney has been brought back into good health and now needs to go home to her family...or perhaps to another family that will give her a forever home. Again, this GSD does not care for other animals and should be in a home where she would be the only pet. Point of Contact: Email: lizette422@yahoo.com, phone cell, (210) 378-6305

October 10, 2011 The following email was received on October 10, 2011: To whom it may concern, Some of our friends found a dog in the middle of Interstate 10 dodging traffic. They were concerned for his safety so they picked him up. They took him to the nearest humane society which said they were full (we've since learned that all the humane societies in San Antonio are full). They had him scanned for a microchip and discovered that he does NOT have one. He has no other identification. Since our friends live in an apartment, they brought him to our backyard (it's been storming so we had to bring him inside!). We cannot keep him because of allergies. We are desperately trying to find him a home and need your help. We know nothing about him except that he is male, with no identification and appears to be a German Shepherd (mix ?). He doesn't bark or bite. He seems to be housebroken. Please find pictures of him attached. Please help us find him a safe, happy home.
